David Zink used a late-kick to shove four hot dogs in his mouth in 20 seconds to capture first place at the 1st annual Inland_Sports Hot Dog Eating Contest.
The contest was part of the Inland_Sports Independence Day Spectacular.
Despite giving his competitors a “head start”, Zink was able to surge past Cameron Trudel, Jonathan Rutz, and Drew Knight with a hot dog eating display that is second only to Kobayashi and Joey “Jaws” Chestnut.
Sports experts are comparing Zink’s come from behind victory to that of the Cleveland Cavaliers battling back from a 3-1 deficit to the Golden State Warriors to win the NBA title.
A ceremonial parade to honor David Zink is being planned.
