As for the Coyotes, they just missed out on the playoffs last season but head coach Ed McMillon has them hungry for a winning season.

San Bernardino Valley College is set to unveil its new football stadium when the Wolverines play their opener against Mt. Sac on September 2. The Wolverines will be led by quarterback Armando Herrera from Redlands East Valley. REV is now looking for a new quarterback to help them capture their 9th straight Citrus Belt League title.

Cajon Cowboys football star Jeremiah Martin will anchor a strong defensive unit for head coach Nick Roger this season. A couple years ago, it was Damontae Kazee leading the Cajon defense; and now Kazee is entering his rookie season in the NFL with the Atlanta Falcons.

Indian Springs won the CIF Division IV Southern California Regional Championship with a 3-0 victory against Citrus Hill.

The Indian Springs Coyotes hosting the Community Charter Titans in the CIF Division 4 Southern California Regional Semifinals.

The Coyotes won 3-0 behind a pair of goals from Israel Mata and one from Juan Apiricio. Indian Springs will play at Citrus Hill for the DIV championship.

The San Gabriel Mission Pioneers defeated the Pacific Pirates 1-0 for the CIF Southern Section Division 7 championship at Corona High School.

Citrus Hill Hawks defeated the Indian Springs Coyotes 5-4 in a shootout for the CIF Southern Section Division 5 Championship at Corona High School.

After staying level 2-2 through regulation and overtime, Indian Springs defeated Montclair 3-0 in a shootout to advance to its first CIF-SS championship match. The Coyotes will face Citrus Hill for the CIF-SS Division 5 championship.

The Indian Springs Coyotes host the Santa Paula Cardinals in the CIF Southern Section Division 5 quarterfinals in San Bernardino. Indian Springs won 4-0 and will host Montclair in the CIF-SS D5 Semifinals on Tuesday.

The San Bernardino boys basketball team won back-to-back playoff games at home to reach the quarterfinals in the CIF Southern Section Division 3A playoffs. We’ll have highlights of the Cardinals win vs. Compton Centennial, plus action from Cajon hosting Whittier in Division 2AA and San Gorgonio meeting Silver Valley in a CIF-SS Wildcard contest. In girls basketball, Citrus Belt League champion Yucaipa traveled to Riverside King.

In girls water polo, Cajon edged Millikan in the CIF-SS Division 5 first round.

Cajon wrestler Josh Loomer is taking aim on a state title and will be looking to defend his CIF Southern Section title. Highlights of Loomer at 182 pounds and other matches from the Citrus Belt League Finals. Plus, the Cajon football team will open the 2017 season with two huge games at Paloma Valley then back home for Murrieta Valley.

The Cajon girls soccer team knocked-off Citrus Belt League champion Redlands East Valley, while the Rialto boys soccer team won the San Andreas League title with a big road victory at Indian Springs. Plus, two brothers that were standouts at Cal State San Bernardino are now playing professionally for the Ontario Fury.

The Pacific boys basketball team topped San Bernardino to capture the Mountain Valley League championship; the Pirates first since 2001. Plus, the inspiring tale of Arroyo Valley’s Ricardo Ruvalcaba who was the hero of the Hawks game vs. San Gorgonio.

Kaleb Hayes, Tyreque Jones, and Pika Fakava signed college football scholarships at San Gorgonio High School. Hayes is headed to Oregon State, Jones to Boise State, and Fakava to Concordia University in Minnesota. Summit star running back Stephen Carr inked a scholarship with the USC Trojans.

The Yucaipa girls water polo team solidified its spot atop the Citrus Belt League with a victory against second place Cajon. Plus, former Cajon football star Damontae Kazee talks about completing his college career at San Diego State University and now preparing for the NFL Draft.

The Pacific Pirates clinched its first Mountain Valley League championship in 16 years by holding off reigning champion San Bernardino 63-57. The Pirates finish a perfect 10-0 in the MVL to clinch the league title. Little League West and Northwest Regional champions were crowned in San Bernardino while one of the Little League teams made its way to Los Angeles Rams training camp at UC Irvine. Rams fans in San Bernardino flocked to the 66ers game on “Welcome Back Rams Night”. San Bernardino Valley College athletic trainer Mike Sola gives us a tour of the old athletic facilities at Valley while sharing memories that he made the past 35 years. San Gorgonio, Cajon, and Redlands all reached the playoff round of the Air Assault 7v7 Tournament at Banning High School, but it was Paloma Valley defeating Sunbelt league rival Perris in the championship game.
