The Riverside Poly baseball team opened the CIFSS playoffs with a 1-0 win at Citrus Valley thanks to a complete game, two-hit shutout from starting pitcher Cole Percival.


JW North swimmer Javier Bernal wins the CIF Southern Section Division 3 championship in the Boys 200 Individual Medley.


JW North earned a share of the Inland Valley League title with a 5-0 victory at Riverside Poly. Damien Sanchez led off the game with a home run, while Tony Bullard added a 2-run shot for JWN. Huskies starter Alonzo Diaz tossed a complete game shutout for the victory. The Huskies and Bears finish as co-IVL champions.
