OLYMPICS: Inland Area Athletes on the road to Rio 2016

American synchronized swimming duet Mariya Koroleva and Anita Alvarez are training at RCC for the 2016 Summer Olympics.

Pep Fernandez is LIVE from Adrenaline Athletic Training with an update on Inland Area athletes who have already secured a spot at the Summer Games in Rio de Janeiro, plus a couple other notables who are still looking to qualifying for the Olympics.
Cyclist Sarah Hammer, weightlifter Sarah Robles, and men’s volleyball player Taylor Sander will represent the Red, White, and Blue; while Tyler Clary is trying to punch his ticket to Rio to defend his gold medal in the 200 meter backstroke.
High School phenom and back-to-back Gatorade National Track & Field Athlete of the Year Michael Norman from Vista Murrieta is at the Olympic Trials in the 200 and 400 meters.
Plus, video of American synchronized swimming duet Mariya Koroleva and Anita Alvarez training at Riverside City College for the 2016 Rio Olympics.

BASKETBALL: Inland_Sports All-Star Classic Rosters

Congratulations to the following players on being selected for the 2nd annual Inland_Sports All-Star Classic, slated for April 15 7:30 pm at Norte Vista High School in Riverside.

There will be a mandatory practice on Thursday April 14 from 6-8 pm at Norte Vista High School.

The practice and the Inland_Sports All-Star Classic game will be broadcasted live; check out highlights from last year’s game on the Inland_Sports YouTube Channel:

FOOTBALL: Rams TE/FB Cory Harkey talks NFL Free Agency

After four seasons with the St. Louis Rams, free agent tight end/fullback Cory Harkey is a free agent, but is still hoping to re-sign with the now Los Angeles Rams. Harley played at Chino Hills High School before suiting up at UCLA.

Harkey and his wife have moved to Riverside and is now training at Adrenaline Athletic Training in Corona with former NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year and 1,000 yard rusher Leonard Russell.

Former Rams Running Back Leonard Russell talks about NFL in Los Angeles

Former NFL running back Leonard Russell joined Pep Fernandez on the Inland_Sports Show to talk about the Rams move to Los Angeles. Russell, a former NFL Rookie of the Year and 1,000 yard rusher, played not only for the Rams, but also the Patriots, Broncos, and Chargers.

Russell is now the Director of Performance at Adrenaline Athletic Training in Corona and is working with former Corona Centennial quarterback Michael Eubank who is preparing for a NFL career.
