VOLLEYBALL: #5 Cal Baptist sweeps Academy of Art 3-0, Lancers now 14-0

The #5 Cal Baptist volleyball team improved to 14-0 overall, 6-0 in the PacWest Conference with a 3-0 victory vs. the Academy of Art. Look for our exclusive interview with twins McKenna and Madison Witt on The Inland_Sports Show prior to the Lancers showdown with Azusa Pacific University on October 14. Madison and McKenna transferred to CBU following an All-American beach volleyball career at the University of Arizona.

The Cal Baptist volleyball team is getting set for its final season in the PacWest Conference.

Centennial Huskies head coach Matt Logan joins us in the Inland_Sports Show Studio to break down the upcoming 2017 season. Huskies quarterback Tanner McKee, center Solo Vaipulu, and linebacker Solo Vaipulu also joined us.

SOFTBALL: Cal Baptist preparing for playoff run

Fresh off its third PacWest Conference championship, the Cal Baptist University softball team will now turn its attention to the playoffs and the West Regional. CBU will be looking to make school history and become the first team to advance past the West Region.

CBU will travel to Chico State for the West Regional and will open play against Humboldt St.

The Lancers finished the season with an overall record of 36-11, 26-6 in the PacWest Conference.

SOFTBALL: Cal Baptist win streak reaches 24 games

The Cal Baptist University softball team pushed its winning streak to 24 consecutive games with a double-header sweep of Notre Dame de Namur 9-0, 3-0. The first place Lancers improve to 32-7 overall, 24-2 in the PacWest Conference.

BASKETBALL: Cal Baptist Women’s Hoops on The Inland_Sports Show

The Cal Baptist University women’s basketball team will join us on The Inland_Sports Show this Saturday to talk about their trip to the Elite 8 in Columbus, Ohio.

The Lancers (34-2) have won 31 straight games and are coming off a 77-64 victory against Simon Fraser for the West Regional championship in Anchorage, Alaska.

Along with head coach Jarrod Olson, seniors Cassidy Mihlako and Kamille Diaz will also appear on The Inland_Sports Show on Fox Sports Radio 1350AM and streaming LIVE online on The Inland_Sports Show Channel on YouTube.

Mihalko is now the all-time leading scorer in PacWest Conference history and earned the West Region Player of the Year Honors.

Diaz helped CBU capture the West Regional title and was awarded the Most Outstanding Player of the tournament.
