High School Football league title races on The Inland_Sports TV Show

We’ll breaking down high school football in the Inland Empire as first place is up for grabs in several leagues in Week 8. The University of Redlands picks up a big win vs. Chapman behind quarterback Nathan Martinez. UC Riverside women’s soccer is off to a historic start. California Baptist volleyball earns a signature win vs. defending WAC champion Cal State Bakersfield and now looks ahead to a match up with UCR on October 23.

VOLLEYBALL: CBU knocks off defending WAC champ Bakersfield 3-2

California Baptist picked up a signature victory against the defending WAC champion Cal State Bakersfield 3-2 on Saturday afternoon.

CBU used 22 kills from Tesa Oaks to knock off the first place team in the WAC; The Runners were previously undefeated in conference play.

VOLLEYBALL: California Baptist wins first D1 Home Match, 3-1 vs. UTEP

 

CBU defeated the University of Texas-El Paso 3-1 in the team’s first ever Division I match on their home floor in Van Dyne Gym. Head Coach Branden Higa, plus Tesa Oaks and Megan Sester talk about the Lancers first Division 1 victory on campus.
