BASEBALL: CBU Lancers selected for NCAA DII West Regional

The Cal Baptist University Baseball is headed to the NCAA Division II West Regional for the fourth consecutive season as the Lancers learned its postseason fate on Sunday night.

CBU (34-16, 25-11 in the PacWest) will open the playoffs on Thursday against the host school Azusa Pacific. The West Region tournament is double elimination.

The Lancers hosted the West Regional last year and reached the final game, but lost to Cal Pomona 7-6.

Roosevelt Hoops, Dodgers P Trevor Oaks on Inland_Sports Show

The Big VIII League champion Roosevelt boys basketball team will join us in-studio on the Inland_Sports Show as the Mustangs stop by to talk about the CIF-SS playoffs.

BASEBALL: Cal Baptist Lancers Media Day


The Cal Baptist University baseball team is coming off a record-setting season that included a program-best 42 victories, a PacWest Conference title and the opportunity to host the West Region tournament; the very first postseason tourney to be held at CBU.

The Lancers are preseason nationally ranked, but head coach Gary Adcock will need to replace many of his starting players from a season ago.
