Basketball: Inland_Sports All-Star Classic Video

The top high school basketball seniors in the Inland Empire were highlighted at the 4th Inland_Sports All-Star Classic at Riverside City College.

Team Tarkanian won the boys game 142-124 vs Team Masi as Mason Westlake from JW North took home MVP honors.

Team Cheryl Miller won the girls all star game 62-54 vs Team Maylana Martin as Naomi Yim from Norco was named MVP.


FOOTBALL: 33rd Inland Empire All-Star Classic Set for January 13

The longest running high school football all-star game in California returns on January 13 at Centennial High School in Corona.

The 33rd Inland Empire All-Star Classic pits San Bernardino County (UCLA colors) against the all-stars from Riverside County (USC Colors).

Centennial head coach Matt Logan will guide the Riverside All-Star team, while Nick Matheny from Summit will skipper the all-stars from San Bernardino.

The Inland Empire All-Star Classic has passed out more than $175,000 in scholarship money. This year, four more scholarships will be awarded. Click on the following link for an application and instructions to apply:

BASEBALL: IEBCA All-Star Game slated for June 12 at San Manuel Stadium

The top high school senior baseball players in Riverside and San Bernardino Counties will square-off in another edition of the Inland Empire Baseball Coaches Association All-Star Game on June 12 at San Manuel Stadium in San Bernardino.

Inland_Sports will live stream the game on the Inland_Sports Channel on YouTube. Pregame show begins at 6:45 pm, first pitch around 7pm.

IE All-Stars set for Inland_Sports Show


The #1 overall pick in the Inland Empire All-Star Classic Scott Walther (Heritage offensive lineman) will join us LIVE on the Inland_Sports Show this Saturday on Fox Sports 1350AM and the Inland_Sports YouTube Channel.

Walther was selected by Jim Walker (Redlands) with the first pick for the Cardinal Empire team which will wear USC colors for the IE All-Star Classic. Walther paved the way for the Heritage offense, leading the Patriots to an undefeated regular season and another Sunbelt League championship.

Quarterback Armando Herrera (REV) was the top pick for Derrick Johnson (Notre Dame) and the Blue Empire team. Herrera capped off his high school career with more than 10,000 yards passing and 100 touchdowns in four years with the Wildcats. Herrera will also join us LIVE on The Inland_Sports Show.

The 32nd Inland Empire All-Star Classic head coaches Jim Walker (Redlands) and Derrick Johnson (Notre Dame) drafted the first 22 players on each of their teams during a LIVE broadcast on the Inland_Sports Show YouTube Channel on Wednesday from the Tartan Restaurant in Redlands.

Below are the players drafted by each head coach. An approximate 14 additional players will be added to each all-star roster. The final rosters will be posted on the Inland_Sports website and social media platforms.
