Cajon DB/WR Rome Weber: Marines Recruiting Station Riverside Athlete of the Week

Cajon defensive back/receiver Rome Weber is our Marines Recruiting Station Riverside Athlete of the Week after scoring a pair of touchdowns during a 70-23 win vs. Rancho Verde in the CIF Division 2A SoCal Regional. Weber caught a touchdown pass from quarterback Jayden Daniels and later took a lateral from Jeremiah Martin to score a touchdown while on defense. Cajon will travel to Sacramento on Friday to play San Mateo Serra on Friday at 4pm for the CIF Division 2AA state championship.

Murrieta Valley WR Marquis Spiker: Marines Recruiting Station Riverside Athlete of the Week

Murrieta Valley receiver Marquis Spiker is the all-time leader in touchdown catches in the state of California! Spiker broke the record in the Nighthawks 59-56 win against Santa Margarita in the first round of the CIF Southern Section Division 1 playoffs. Spiker caught four touchdowns in the game to go with 284 yards. Spiker now has 70 career touchdown catches, passing the old mark of 66 set by Earvin Johnson of Cathedral in 2000.

Hillcrest WR Elijah Dominguez: The Marines Recruiting Station Riverside Athlete of the Week

Hillcrest receiver Elijah Dominguez caught three touchdown passes from quarterback Jalen Jefferson to lead Hillcrest to a wild, 49-41 victory against Norte Vista. Dominguez scored the game-winning touchdown late in the game, as the Trojans finished in a 5-way tie for first place in the River Valley League.

Heritage RB Sherod White: Marines Recruiting Station Riverside Athlete of the Week

Heritage running back Sherod White paced Heritage to a 60-7 win vs. Temescal Canyon. Next up for White and the Patriots is the Menifee Bowl against Paloma Valley. White and James Phillips has proved a strong one-two punch for the Patriots ground game.

Norco RB Travis Dye: Marines Recruiting Station Riverside Athlete of the Week

Norco running back Travis Dye ran for 250 yards and three touchdowns, while being sick, to pace the Cougars to a 56-42 win vs. Big VIII League rival Santiago. Dye and the Norco Cougars have won five games in a row heading into their showdown with Centennial.
