NFL: Green Bay Packers Select Kenny Clark in NFL Draft

The Green Bay Packers selected defensive tackle Kenny Clark (Rialto Carter HS/UCLA) with the 27th overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft. Clark is the first Inland area player to be selected in the first round of the NFL Draft since the Baltimore Ravens took Jimmy Smith (Colton HS) with the 27th pick in 2011.

FOOTBALL: Carter coach Alex Pierce talks Kenny Clark


From Rialto Carter High School to UCLA, Kenny Clark has been an unstoppable force on the defensive line. Clark could be the first Inland area football player to hear his name called during the 2016 NFL Draft which begins on Thursday April 28. Clark, a defensive tackle, is projected to be a first or second round pick by many NFL experts.

Carter head coach Alex Pierce spoke about Clark and how he turned his NFL dream into a reality:

Former Rams Running Back Leonard Russell talks about NFL in Los Angeles

Former NFL running back Leonard Russell joined Pep Fernandez on the Inland_Sports Show to talk about the Rams move to Los Angeles. Russell, a former NFL Rookie of the Year and 1,000 yard rusher, played not only for the Rams, but also the Patriots, Broncos, and Chargers.

Russell is now the Director of Performance at Adrenaline Athletic Training in Corona and is working with former Corona Centennial quarterback Michael Eubank who is preparing for a NFL career.
