On Friday night, it’s Aquinas vs. Notre Dame at Jurupa Valley HS in another edition of the Holy War. Then on Saturday night, San Bernardino Valley College visits Riverside City College in the Bell Game rivalry.

The UC Riverside men’s basketball team used a game-high 22 points from Dikymbe Martin and 20 from Menno Dijkstra to beat Pepperdine for the first time in 41 years, 75-71.
Ajani Kennedy had the signature moment in the game, with an emphatic dunk with about 30 seconds left in the game, and the Highlanders up by one:
JW North will meet Riverside Poly on Friday on Riverside TV. Not only is this a rivalry game, but the Bears and Huskies will be battling for second place in the Inland Valley League, and likely a playoff spot.

It’s a River Valley League battle on Riverside TV this Friday as La Sierra meets Ramona. The Eagles and Rams have identical records (5-2, 1-1) and are part of a 4-way tie for 2nd place in the RVL.
