FOOTBALL: SBVC wins opener by scoring 80 points vs. Santa Ana

The San Bernardino Valley College Wolverines posted 80 points to win their season opener vs. Santa Ana 80-48. Former Roosevelt HS quarterback Jeremy Moussa threw for 636 yards and 7 touchdowns in the win. The 80 points in a single game is a modern day record for SBVC. Back in 1930, SBVC scored 116 points vs. the Indio Fire Department.

FOOTBALL: SBVC prepping for 2019 season

The San Bernardino Valley College football team is coming off an American Mountain Division title and a trip to the American Conference championship game.

The Wolverines finished 9-2 last season in Daniel Algattas’ second season as head coach.

SBVC will look to former Roosevelt HS quarterback Jeremy Moussa to guide the offense.

FOOTBALL: SBVC downs Desert 56-25, wins American Mountain League

The San Bernardino Valley College football team captured the American Mountain League title with a 56-25 win against the College of the Desert.

The Wolverines finished 5-0 in league, 9-1 overall.

SBVC set a new school record for points scored in a single season and quarterback Armando Herrera broke the single season record for passing yards in the victory against COD.

Valley is expected to play in a postseason bowl game at Allan Hancock (Righetti HS) for the American Conference title next Saturday in Santa Maria.

FOOTBALL: SBVC rolls to 63-35 win vs MSJC on IEMG-TV

Quarterback Armando Herrera broke the San Bernardino Valley College record for career touchdown passes, touchdown passes in a single season, career passing yards, and career completions in a 63-35 win vs Mt. San Jacinto.

The Wolverines (6-1, 2-0) are in the driver’s seat for the American Mountain League title.
