HALL OF FAME: Riverside Sport HOF Wall of Distinction Ceremony

27 names were added to the Riverside Sport Hall of Fame Wall of Distinction during a ceremony at Riverside City Hall on January 21, 2017.

Among those included are current Major League baseball players Austin Barnes (Dodgers) and Matt Andriese (Rays). Three Olympians were also added including gold medal swimmer Tyler Clary.

OLYMPICS: Inland Area Athletes on the road to Rio 2016

American synchronized swimming duet Mariya Koroleva and Anita Alvarez are training at RCC for the 2016 Summer Olympics.

Pep Fernandez is LIVE from Adrenaline Athletic Training with an update on Inland Area athletes who have already secured a spot at the Summer Games in Rio de Janeiro, plus a couple other notables who are still looking to qualifying for the Olympics.
Cyclist Sarah Hammer, weightlifter Sarah Robles, and men’s volleyball player Taylor Sander will represent the Red, White, and Blue; while Tyler Clary is trying to punch his ticket to Rio to defend his gold medal in the 200 meter backstroke.
High School phenom and back-to-back Gatorade National Track & Field Athlete of the Year Michael Norman from Vista Murrieta is at the Olympic Trials in the 200 and 400 meters.
