CBL Volleyball, Mountain Valley Water Polo on IEMG-TV

The Cajon Cowboys water polo team went on the road to Citrus Valley and picked up a big Citrus Belt League victory. Plus water polo highlights of San Bernardino vs. Moreno Valley for first place in the Mountain Valley League. Also, volleyball action from REV vs. Yucaipa in the CBL and Aquinas at Ontario Christian in the Ambassador League; first place up for grabs in both matches.

VOLLEYBALL: Paloma Valley turns away Yucaipa, 3-0

The Paloma Valley Wildcats will enter league play with momentum after sweeping Yucaipa, who went a perfect 14-0 in the Citrus Belt League last season.

CIF Southern Section Baseball & Softball Finals

The CIF Southern Section baseball playoffs are entering the quarterfinals this Friday.

While the Inland Empire does not have any teams still alive in Division 1 and only Yucaipa in Division 2, we have three teams in the championship mix in D 3; Arlington, Redlands, and Temescal Canyon.

Here’s the deal … Yucaipa did not just sneak into the party, the T’Birds burst through the front door. Yucaipa, behind its first ever win vs. REV 43-27, rockets to #7 in our high school football rankings, taking the place of the Wildcats. The next couple of week will be extremely telling as we enter into league play for the rest of the world. Some great games on deck; including Notre Dame vs. Aquinas, Centennial vs. Roosevelt, and Murrieta Valley vs. Vista Murrieta in Week 6.
